Abstract

|
A study of the blood picture of 67 normal subjects living at higher altitude above
1,200 meters sea level has been trade. The average values of red blood cell, hemoglobin
and hematocrit tend to be increased in the individuals living at this area when compared
to those of normal individuals at ground level. The specific gravity of the blood was
also increased in the higher altitude group.
